![]() South East Open StudiosBankside Cottage Studio, Lingfield9th - 13th and 16th - 20th of June 11-5pmCome and visit us during South East Open Studios! The studio in Lingfield in Surrey will be open as part of the Edenbridge Art Trail for two weeks in June. I'll be there on Wednesdays 12-4pm, Fridays and Saturdays 11-5pm, the studio is open on other days with Lois Sykes on duty. You'll be able to see an exciting show of paintings, prints and cards by two animal painters, Lois Sykes and Denise Laurent and there'll be beautiful jewellery by Helen Morris-Clarke. Plus the gorgeous garden, the animals and a chance to win prizes.
Win A Limited Edition PrintDuring the two weeks of Open Studios we will be giving away a limited edition print to a lucky winner each week. Just come along, fill in a card and choose the print you'd like if you win. You'll have a choice of many limited edition prints from the catalogs of both artists, so there's plenty of choice.
The StudioThe studio is in a lovely part of Surrey on the Kent border, a short walk from Dormans station, near Lingfield race course. The studio is in the beautiful garden behind cottage, the gallery & parking are in the stable block just up the track. As well as the lovely gardens we have cats, chickens, ducks and horses.
We get some unusual visitors! This is Pepper visiting the gallery. Of course not everyone comes to see the art and enjoy a chat. Or even to visit the garden and see what David has done with it this year. Some of you are visting our four footed companions. Pepper and Snowflake are looking forward to seeing their fans (and their mints). Casper the studio cat is currently starring at The Cat Gallery in York in After The Hunt but will take time from his busy schedule for a quick purr and belly rub. How To Find UsThe studio is a 2 minute walk from Dormans station. Dormans is just north of East Grinstead and south of lingfield. By train Dormans is on the East Grinstead line from Victoria, trains take 50 minutes from London. From Dormans station walk down the hill to the bend in the road. The studio and gardens are behind the cottage that sits at the bend in the road. If you are driving, Blackberry Lane is off the B2028 that runs through Lingfield.
The cottage is on the bend in the road.
The studio is just to the right of the cottage in the gardens behind.
The Stable Gallery is to the left of the cottage, in the stable block just up the track. Parking is available here too.
